2017 Honda Activa 125 Teased Ahead Of Launch In India
Honda’s new Activa 125 will be BS-IV compliant and features Automatic Headlamp On (AHO), and telescopic suspension.
Honda has teased a new image of the 2017 Activa 125, which will be Bharat Stage IV compliant. The image or the teaser of the new Activa 125 reveals the scooter featuring LED Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) and is supported by the word 'It's Frontastic'.
The Japanese company recently confirmed that they will upgrade their scooter range to BS-IV which will come into effect from April 1, 2017. The 2017 Activa 125 will feature LED lights for both the headlight and taillight.
The new Activa 125 will be the first to be Bharat Stage IV compliant before the entire range of covered along with these two features. The teaser reveals the silhouette similar the Activa 3G along with the LED AHO will be integrated into the front apron. The main headlamp is expected to placed in its traditional position, in front of the handlebars.
Honda has not revealed more details of the new Activa 125, though this could be the same 124.9cc engine producing 8.60bhp and 10.12Nm of torque. The motor will be mated to the ‘V-Matic' automatic gearbox.
The 2017 Honda Activa 125 will be equipped with front disc brake and will come with telescopic front suspension.
Tyres of the new Activa 125 will be tubeless and the front wheel rim will be of 12-inch while the rear will be of 10-inch. The weight of the new Activa 125 should be around 110kg.
Honda is expected to launch the new Activa 125 by March 2017.
