Honda is all set to launch a new premium scooter, the Grazia in the Indian market.
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Honda is all set to launch a new scooter in the Indian market. Named as Grazia, the new scooter will be a premium offering from the company.
Honda has already commenced the bookings for Grazia. The customers can book the scooter by paying a token amount of Rs 2,000 across all the Honda dealerships in the country. Honda is yet to reveal the technical details of the scooter, but here are the important things you should know about the Grazia.
Honda states that the Grazia is an Advanced Urban Scooter which suggests that the scooter is designed for young urban buyers. The overall design of the Grazia also reflects the same with premium quality components.
The premium touches on the Grazia include dual-tone paint scheme, premium quality plastic for switchgear and chrome detailing. The front profile of the scooter features large twin headlamps and turn indicators integrated to the front apron.

Apart from that, the Grazia is equipped with new instrument cluster with digital display, small storage space on the interior panel and USB charging port in the under seat storage compartment.
The Honda Grazia features 12-inch black alloy wheels with front disc brake. The scooter also gets Honda's Combi-Brake System (CBS for improved braking. Overall the Grazia looks sporty and an upmarket product as compared to other Honda scooters.
The Honda Grazia is expected to draw power from a 124.9cc air-cooled, single cylinder engine which is currently deployed in the Activa 125. The engine produces 8.52bhp and 10.54Nm of peak torque. The engine also gets Honda Eco Technology (HET) for improved mileage.

The Honda Grazia is a premium scooter targeted towards young urban buyers. It might look like a sportier version of the Dio, but it is a premium offering from the stable of Honda. The Grazia will rival the likes of Suzuki Access, Mahindra Gusto 125 and Vespa VX 125. Expect the scooter to be launched by this month and it is likely to be priced around Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000 ex-showroom.
