Honda Cliq launched in Tamil Nadu. The Honda Cliq is priced at Rs 44,524 ex-showroom (Chennai).
Honda Cliq scooter is designed for the semi-urban and rural customers. The Honda Cliq features a large front apron, large seats and good storage underneath the seat. The rear of the Honda Cliq receives tubular grab rails which add to the utility aspect of the scooter. Compared to the Honda Activa, the Cliq is shorter and narrower as well as lighter by 6kg.
The Honda Cliq has a low seat height of 743mm, and the company claims the Cliq is a unisex scooter and female riders will find it easier to ride the scooter with its low height and kerb weight.
The fuel tank of the Honda Cliq can fill up to 3.5-litre of petrol and is shod with block pattern tyres with deep grooves
provide extra grip and better control over patchy roads under all weather conditions. The footboard of the Cliq is wide, and an optional carrier can be installed.
Additionally, the Honda Cliq comes with Honda's Combi-Braking System, mobile charging point, tubeless tyres and a maintenance free battery.
The Honda Cliq is powered by a 109.19cc engine which produces 8.04bhp and 8.94Nm of torque with a top speed of 83km/h. The Honda Cliq is available in in four attractive colours: Patriotic Red with White, Black, Moroccan Blue with White, and Orcus Grey and is available for sale in Standard & Graphic variants.
Optional accessories include Front Screen, Floor Cover, Box Center, Cap Cover and Rear Grip which further enhance the utility and aesthetics of Cliq.
The Honda Cliq is lighter compared to other Honda scooters, and the ride height is low as well making it easier for both and male and female riders. The scooter is also convenient with electric start function along with automatic gearbox which is a boon in the chaotic Indian traffic.
