Taking its promise of working towards a greener tomorrow, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) commemorated a week long celebration around 45th World Environment Day June 5 to June 11, 2017.
Moving into the 17th year of celebration, Honda conducted activities across its plants in Manesar (Haryana), Tapukara (Rajasthan) Narsapura (Karnataka) and Vithalapur (Gujarat) and its dealership network.
In line with this year's UNEP theme, 'Connecting People to Nature', Honda took a holistic approach towards environment preservation through its concept of Green Factory, Green Dealer and Green Supplier, aiming for a Cleaner, Greener and a Brighter outlook.
As part of the initiative, Honda engaged with its dealership network for plantation of saplings at their premises, nearby schools and primary localities. Free of cost PUC Check-ups were conducted for all the customers visiting the workshop.
Free plant saplings were given away to customers visiting the dealerships.Customer engagement and awareness campaigns were also initiated at all touch points.
