Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Honda has introduced the all-new CBR 150R ExMotion in Thailand.
The Honda CBR 150R ExMotion is the production version of the 150SS Racer concept showcased at the 2017 Bangkok International Motor Show. The motorcycle features new design language and is almost similar to the concept version.
The naked motorcycle features round LED headlamp, LCD instrument cluster, petal disc brakes at both the ends, upside down front forks, monoshock suspension at the rear and 10-spoke alloy wheels.
The CBR 150R ExMotion draws power from a 149cc 4-valve, fuel injected, liquid-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is also compliant with the Euro 6 emission norms. The motor sits on the Inner Pivot type Diamond frame.
Honda has not revealed the power figures of the new motorcycle. The kerb weight of the CBR 150R ExMotion stands at just 123kg with a fuel tank capacity of 8.5-litre. The motorcycle also gets ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with G-Sensor.
The Honda CBR 150R ExMotion is offered in four paint schemes - Millenium Red, Pearl Grey, Black and Matte Green. Apart from that, there are four variants of the motorcycle - CB150R, CB150R ABS, CB150R Scramble Cafe and CB150R Street Cafe. In Thailand, the prices of the motorcycle start from 99,800 Thai Baht (approximately Rs. 1.93 lakhs).
The CBR 150R ExMotion is a premium 150cc naked motorcycle. It is equipped with best-in-class features such as full-LED headlamp, fuel injected, liquid-cooled engine and ABS with G-Sensor.
Honda has not revealed its plans to launch the motorcycle in other markets. But looking at the design and features, we can say that it's not your regular commuter motorcycle. If launched in India it will carry a premium price tag. So, Honda is unlikely to introduce the CBR 150R ExMotion in the Indian market.
