The New Hero Glamour SV — Hero MotoCorp Retains The ‘Glamour’ Aspect
Hero has renamed the Glamour as Glamour SV and here are the complete details, including pricing, specifications, and colours.
Hero MotoCorp has renamed the Glamour as the Glamour SV for 2017, after launching the motorcycle in Argentina with a 125cc engine and later introducing it in India.
The Hero Glamour SV is now BS-IV (BS4) compliant, and Hero claims that the fuel injected engine is also ready for BS-VI (BS6) norms that will come into effect soon.
Powering the Hero Glamour SV is a 124.7cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine that makes 11.4bhp and 11Nm of torque. The engine comes paired to a 4-speed gearbox. The older version of the Glamour produces 9bhp and 10Nm of torque.
The fuel injected version of the Glamour makes up for 10 percent of sales and is priced at Rs 63,580 ex-showroom (Delhi). The carbureted version of the Glamour SV retails for Rs 57,755, and the disc brake variant costs Rs 59,775.
The Hero Glamour SV also features the i3S technology, which automatically kills the engine while the motorcycle is idling, and restarts the motor when the clutch lever is depressed. The system also helps in achieving better fuel economy.
The fuel injected version of the Hero Glamour SV comes with a standard disc brake up front and is available in a choice of four colours.
