EBR Motorcycles Shutting Doors, Again
EBR Motorcycles has closed doors again, but the company will honour warranty and support dealers with spares.
EBR Motorcycles has been riding on rough waves, and the company is closing doors again. Starting next week, the American manufacturer will be winding down its operations and begin looking for a strategic investor to take over the brand.

Liquid Asset Partners (LAP) says that the decision is because EBR is finding it difficult to secure new dealerships and increase sales. LAP says production numbers for 2016 and 2017 were below expectations.

LAP says, "The combination of slow sales and industry announcements of other major OEM brands closing or cutting production only magnified the challenges faced by EBR."

EBR says that the motorcycle company will honour its warranties, and will also provide technical support and spare parts to dealers, and to those customers who have bought EBR motorcycles.

It now comes down to the point whether this is the end of the road for EBR. Time will reveal the truth and what lies ahead for Erik Buell.
