Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 Launched In India
Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 launched in India. The new Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 is priced at Rs 8.52 lakh ex-showroom (India).
The new Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 features a paint scheme designed by celebrated Californian designer Roland Sands with colours that elicit the usual West Coast style of the '70s. The motorcycle is available across all seven Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Kochi.
Currently, Ducati India offers several different versions of the Scrambler such as the Icon, Classic and Full Throttle. The new Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 features sleek, with low-slung tapered aluminium handlebars, a dedicated Flat Track Pro seat, black exhaust and cylinder head covers, plus Café Racer-style brushed cooling fins.

The inspiration for the name of the latest version comes from a bike that made Ducati - and motorcycling - history in the '60s. Back in 1965, in fact, the Mach 1 250 was launched: a classic of its day that mounted the same engine as the Scrambler 250 of the time.
The choice of the name originates from its relationship with speed and movement: 'Mach', in fact, is the unit of measure for supersonic speeds.
The Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 is powered by an 803cc V-twin engine producing 72.4bhp @ 8,250rpm and 67Nm of torque @ 5,750rpm. The motorcycle rival the likes of Triumph Street Scrambler and Yamaha FZ-07 in the Indian market.
Sergi Canovas Garriga, Managing Director of Ducati India, said, "The Ducati Scramblers are the perfect starting point for motorcyclists. It is a contemporary bike that gives the rider pure riding pleasure with the practicality of a modern bike. The Scrambler Mach 2.0 is a very special motorcycle that is a result of our collaboration with Roland and will provide a unique flavour to Scrambler buyers."
