Ducati To Launch Five New Motorcycles In India
Ducati is all set to launch five new motorcycles in the Indian market. With the introduction of new models almost entire Ducati lineup will be available in India.
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati is gearing up to expand its product portfolio in the country. The company will be launching five new motorcycles in India in 2017.

Autocar India reports that Ducati will launch five new models in India in four consecutive months. With the launch of new products, Ducati's almost entire global lineup will be available in India.

Managing Director, Ducati India, Ravi Avalur said, "There is nothing that we offer internationally that we don't intend to make available to customers in India."

The new motorcycles on the cards are Multistrada 950, Monster 797, the Scrambler Desert Sled, Scrambler Café Racer and the SuperSport. With the launch of entry-level models, Ducati aims to reach more customers in the country.

The Multistrada 950 and the Monster 797 are the entry-level motorcycles in the Multistrada and Monster range. The riders with less experience who are looking for an affordable motorcycle can opt for any of these models.

The Scrambler Desert Sled and Scrambler Café Racer are the modified iterations of the Scrambler. The Desert Sled is built for off-roading, and the Cafe Racer is the retro styled urban riding machine.

Coming to the last motorcycle, the Supersport is a faired version of the Monster. The motorcycle draws power from a 937cc twin cylinder motor pumping out 113bhp.

The new Ducati models will be brought to India as Completely Built Unit (CBU) from company's Thailand plant. Ducati is spot on with its strategy and will compete against the likes of BMW Motorrad.
