Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition Revealed
Italian motorcycle maker Ducati has finally revealed the 1299 Panigale R Final Edition.
Italian motorcycle maker Ducati has finally revealed the 1299 Panigale R Final Edition. Ducati CEO, Claudio Domenicali unveiled the supersport bike.
The 1299 Panigale R Final Edition is the last superbike in the Panigale line up. Ducati is readying a new supersport bike equipped with a V4 engine.
The 1299 Panigale R Final Edition draws power from a 1,285cc engine pumping out 206.5bhp and 142Nm of torque. The power figures are similar to the Panigale Superleggera.
The engine is identical to the Superleggera, but with steel cylinder liners, titanium connecting rods and valves. So, there is a slight drop in power figures. The motorcycle features WSBK-style full titanium exhaust.
The prominent highlight of the 1299 Panigale R Final Edition is the colour scheme. The superbike is finished in the tricolour livery inspired from Italy's national flag.
Domenicali said, "I'm incredibly proud to present this latest version of our Panigale. Maybe no other motorcycle manufacturer has bound its name so tightly to an engine as Ducati has to its sports twin-cylinder."
