Gulf Monsoon Scooter Autocross 2017: Syed Asif Ali and Muzaffar Ali Crowned Winners
Here’s are the final results from the Gulf Monsoon Scooter Autocross held in Bhopal on September 11.
The 2017 Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally recently concluded in Bhopal, and Syed Asif Ali and Muzaffar Ali were crowned winners at the first scooter autocross held in the city. The event was organised by Sportscraft in association with Gulf Lubricants India.
The event was flagged off on Sunday, September 11 by Member of Parliament Bhopal, Shri Alok Sanjar, Bhopal Madhya Kshetra MLA Surendranath Singh, and BJP Bhopal General Secretary Vikas Virani.
Syed Asif Ali rode a TVS SXR 160 to become the fastest rider in the event. In the under 110cc 2-stroke class, Pinkesh Thakkar took the win. Venkatesh Shetty took the win in the under 110cc 4-stroke class, riding a Honda Dio.
Muzaffar Ali took the win in the 110cc to 160cc 4-stroke class and in the 11-cc to 160cc 2 stroke class as well. The upto 210cc 4-stroke class was won by Syed Asif Ali on a TVS SXR 160, followed by Imran Pasha and Aakash Satpute also on TVS scooters, giving the manufacturer a 1-2-3 podium finish.
Nidhi Shukla took the win in two categories - Ladies upto 210cc and Ladies Open upto 160cc. She was also awarded for being the fastest lady rider, while Syed Asif Ali took the honour for the men.
