Benelli 302R Launched In India: Priced At Rs 3.48 Lakh

Benelli 302R launched in India. The all-new DSK Benelli 302R is priced at Rs 3.48 lakh ex-showroom (pan India).
The Benelli 302R was first unveiled in India at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi and is the entry level motorcycle from the Italian motorcycle manufacturer in the country.
The new Benelli 302R is powered by a 300cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine that produces 38.26bhp @ 11,500rpm and 26.5Nm of torque @ 10,000rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Benelli 302R sports a new trellis frame chassis which is lighter than the one found on the TNT 300. The all-new Benelli 302R for India features 41mm upside down forks up front and a lateral rear mono shock at the rear to take care of the rough stuff. Also present is a new double-sided swingarm.
Braking duties on the new Benelli 302R are handled by a set of 260mm discs with a 4-piston callipers up front and a lone 240mm disc brake at the rear with a single piston calliper. The Benelli 302R gets ABS as standard.
Regarding design, the Benelli 302R sports a split headlamp up front along with clip-on handle bars. The foot pegs have been repositioned for a more aggressive riding position.
At the rear, the 302R sports LED tail lights, clear lens indicators and a double-barrel exhaust. The 2017 302R is available in three different colours at launch: White Rosso, Red Nero, and Silver Verde.
The DSK Benelli 302R is offered with 4 years/unlimited kilometres warranty and will compete with the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the KTM RC 390.
