Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto is testing the new Pulsar NS160 on the Indian roads. Now IAB has spotted the naked motorcycle without any camouflage.

The overall design of the Pulsar NS160 is exactly same as the Pulsar NS200. The only difference is the Pulsar NS160 misses out on liquid cooling and rear disc brake.

The Pulsar NS160 draws power from a 160.3cc single cylinder, oil-cooled engine, producing 15bhp and 14.6Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

Bajaj Auto offers the Pulsar NS160 in Turkey with single-channel ABS up front and drum brake setup at the rear. If launched in India, the motorcycle is likely to miss out on the ABS to keep the cost in check.

When launched in India, the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 will be retailed alongside the Pulsar 150. The 160cc naked street fighter will lock horns with the likes of Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ FI v2.0, and Honda CB Hornet 160R.

DriveSpark Thinks!

Bajaj Auto is trying to tap into the growing 160cc segment in the Indian market. The Pulsar NS160 will be a fitting rival to the likes of Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki. It will be interesting to see the pricing, as Bajaj is known for its affordable motorcycles.
