Bajaj Platina Comfortec With LED DRL Launched In India At Rs 46,656
Bajaj Platina Comfortec with LED DRL launched in India.
Bajaj Platina Comfortec launched in India. The Bajaj Platina Comfortec is priced at Rs 46,656 ex-showroom (India) and is available for purchase at dealerships across the nation.
The new Bajaj Platina Comfortec gets a new LED daylight running light that sits atop the headlight. The new LED DRL eliminates the need for the Auto Headlight On (AHO) function for the main headlight.
Bajaj claims that this helps the Platina Comfortec save around 88 percent of the power that is drawn from the battery with the AHO feature. Bajaj also claims that the Platina Comfortec also delivers better mileage compared to bikes with the AHO feature.

Mechanically, the Platina Comfotec remains unchanged with the 102 cc, single-cylinder engine which makes 7.8bhp and 8.3Nm of torque which is sent to the rear wheel by a four-speed gearbox. The Platina Comfortec returns a mileage of 100kpl and has a top speed of 90kph.
Bajaj claims that the new Platina Comfortec technology helps with better absorption of bumps which helps deliver maximum comfort to the rider and enables a smoother ride. The Platina Comfortec is available in only one guise with both alloy wheels and electric start as standard and comes in two colour options - ebony black with silver decals and cocktail wine with red decals.
Commenting on the launch, Eric Vas, President Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto, said "With the introduction of this upgraded Platina ComforTec, we have made a superior product even better. Customers shall love the combination of comfort, superior mileage and LED DRL styling that the new Platina offers."
