Bajaj Auto has launched the Avenger FLG Rides Cruising Season 2017/18, a pan-India riding community initiative for its popular cruiser, the Avenger.
First Started in 2016, the second Feel Like God (FLG) Rides Cruising season is a lot bigger than the first season with 40 rides to 17 divine destinations as the rides become a round-the-year initiative covering 20,000-kilometres.
The first ride of the 2017/18 season will see riders start off in the national capital of New Delhi and ride all the way up to the Spiti Valley in northeastern Himachal Pradesh, a journey of almost 750 kilometres. The ride from Delhi to Spiti Valey kicks off on June 24, 2017.
The Avenger Feel Like God Rides will cover the length and breadth of the country with rides as long as 11 days (Delhi-Leh) before finally culminating in the final ride from Siliguri to the Yumthang Valley in Sikkim which kicks off on March 17, 2018.
To ensure that riders remain safe during the rides are professionally supervised by leading adventure operators. Each ride is accompanied by a support vehicle and a certified paramedic with medical equipment. Also, to ensure rider alertness, no night riding is allowed, with a maximum cap on the number of riding hours per day.
Speaking on the launch of Avenger ‘Feel Like God' Cruising Season 2017-18, Sumeet Narang, Vice President, (Marketing), Bajaj Auto said, "Long distance group riding has gained tremendous momentum in recent years across India. Avenger brand embodies ‘Liberation' and these FLG rides symbolize that value in the best way possible. It further helps the riders to get the best experience out of their Avengers. With Avenger FLG Rides, we want to encourage our valuable customers to experience the feeling of liberation in riding to the most breathtaking destinations. Avenger FLG has been uniquely designed with resources and infrastructure that promotes group riding in a safe and professional manner."
