Bajaj Dominar 400 Matte Black Hits Showrooms
Bajaj Auto has introduced the Dominar 400 with the new matte black colour scheme.
Bajaj Auto has updated the Dominar 400 by introducing a new colour scheme. The sports cruiser motorcycle is now available in the matte black shade.
Apart from the new colour scheme, there are no cosmetic or mechanical changes done to the motorcycle. The motorcycle is also available in three other colours - midnight blue, twilight plum and moon white.
The Bajaj Dominar 400 draws power from a 373cc single cylinder, liquid cooled; fuel injected engine producing 35bhp and 35Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Dominar 400 is pitted against the Royal Enfield in the sports cruiser segment. Bajaj Auto has been retailing around 3,500 units a month, but in May 2017 the sales figures dropped. But Bajaj states that it's because of the uncertainty among the buyers due to the GST.
Bajaj Auto has stated that the new colour scheme is not a limited edition model. Several dealers have stated that the matte black colour model might be dearer by Rs 4,000. The matte black Dominar 400 will be delivered in the next two days.
