Bajaj CT100 Electric Start launched in India. The new Bajaj CT100 Electric Start Alloy is priced at Rs 38,806 ex-showroom (Mumbai).
The new Bajaj CT100 ES Alloy is the fourth variant in Bajaj's CT100 lineup and the electric start system is priced more than Rs 6,800 compared to the base CT100B.
The Bajaj CT100 ES Alloy is powered by a 99.27cc single cylinder engine that produces 8.08bhp and 8.05Nm of torque which is sent to the rear wheel by a 4-speed gearbox. The Bajaj CT100 ES has a top speed of 90kph and returns a mileage of 90kpl.
To help differentiate the new CT100 ES Alloy variant from the regualr alloy-wheeled CT100, Bajaj has given the new motorcycle new decals, a new fuel gauge, and flexible side indicators. The new Bajaj CT100 ES Alloy is available in two different colours: Flame Red and Ebony Black, the latter of which is available with either red or blue decals.

Commenting on the launch, Eric Vas, President Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto said "The CT100 is the most compelling offering in its segment; it provides customers with superior mileage and now comes with the convenience of electric start. We expect the CT100 Electric Start version to gain a large number of customers at the entry-level 100 cc commuter segment, just the way the CT100 kick-start had done two years ago."
