Aravind KP’s Dakar Dreams Comes To A Crashing Halt After Another Fall
Aravind KP has suffered a shoulder injury after a crash, and is now out of the race. Read on.
Two Indian riders are competing at the 2017 Dakar Rally, and one of them, Aravind KP, riding for the TVS Sherco Team has had an unfortunate fall and is out of the race.
Aravind KP had met with an accident at the end of stage 2, which had left him with two broken bones on his wrist. The strong willed rider continued, and during stage 3, he had another crash that ended his Dakar dreams.
Aravind KP hurt his shoulder 40km into the stage, and had to end his first Dakar appearance. Aravind KP will be back next year to race again.
As disappointed as it is, we wish Aravind KP the best of wishes and good luck for his next Dakar Challenge in 2018.
Meanwhile, CS Santosh has slipped down the ladder as well, after losing his way that cost him more than an hour.
