Aprilia Unveils Its Colourful 2017 MotoGP Challenger
The Italian manufacturer has replaced the previous silver on the sides of the fairing with a more impressive mix of red, white and green livery.
Aprilia has become the latest manufacturer to officially unveil the 2017 MotoGP challenger, revealing new colours for its RS-GP during a launch event at its headquarters in Noale, Italy. The new livery is designed by Aldo Drudi.

The Italian manufacturer has replaced the previous silver on the sides of the fairing with a more impressive mix of red, white and green design. Both the works riders, Aleix Espargaro and Sam Lowes, were present at Noale on Friday. In its third season of MotoGP return, the pair represents a new line-up for the Aprilia MotoGP team.

Espargaro was the 10th fastest rider in the latest pre-season test held at Phillip Island in Australia. The rider admitted that he was satisfied with how the RS-GP was performing over long runs. He also tested the new concealed winglets during the test.

Joining him in the Aprilia team is the Moto2 graduate and former WSS champion Sam Lowes. He is currently adapting his style with the much powerful MotoGP machine. Lowes was mainly using the 2016 MotoGP bike in the test.

The next stop for the MotoGP circus is at Losail International Circuit in Qatar on 10-12 March for the last pre-season test, ahead of the season opener at the same venue on 26 March.
