Spy Pics: Aprilia SR125 Spotted At ARAI Facility
After the successful launch of the Aprilia SR150 and the SR150 Race edition, the company is looking to launch the SR125 Scooter in India.
The Italian motorcycle company, Aprilia tasted success with the launch of its SR150 and SR150 Race edition in India. Now, the company is looking to launch the SR125 Scooter in the country.

The Aprilia SR125 has been spotted inside the ARAI facility in India, where it has arrived for homologation purpose. As per images by Rushlane, the new SR125 looks similar to the SR150 and can be identified by the "SR125" sticker on the right side of the front apron.

From the images, the Aprilia SR125 looking similar to its sibling is expected to share most of the components from the SR150, including the design language.
The SR125 might be powered by a 125cc mill churning out 9.46bhp and 8.2Nm of torque paired to a CVT automatic gearbox. The scooter is underpinned by a tubular steel frame and features telescopic front suspension and a single coil spring at the rear.

The SR150's braking duties are carried out by a 220mm disc at the front and 140mm drum at the rear. We expect the same to feature on the Aprilia SR125.

Aprilia is currently testing waters for its SR125, and it is too early to tell if the launch will be anytime soon. The company will have to position the SR125 with an attractive price to compete with some of the well-established scooter manufacturers in India.
