Yamaha India Records 20 Percent Growth In November 2016

Yamaha Motor India has managed to achieve a growth of 20 percent during November 2016, over the corresponding period. Sales in the rural and semi-urban areas witnessed a dip.

Yamaha India has registered phenomenal sales during November 2016. Domestic sales witnessed a growth of approximately 20 percent. Two-wheeler market witnessed a slump in total sales, owing to Indian Government's decision to demonetize Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency.

During November 2015, Yamaha India sold 42,719 two-wheelers. In November 2016, the Japanese-based manufacturer sold 51,106 units in India. Yamaha India has witnessed a growth of 20 percent over the corresponding period.

The two-wheeler manufacturer witnessed downfall in sales at Tier2 and Tier3 markets. Yamaha India is focussed on improving sales as well as customer-centric activities in Tier2 and Tier3 markets. The goal is to maintain growth achieved by Yamaha India even in tough times.

For 2017, Yamaha Motor India promises several new two-wheeler launches. They will be expanding their 3S network pan India for improved sales and network. Yamaha officials are confident on achieving one million in total sales as well in the Indian market.
