Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR Most Likely To Launch On April 14
Yamaha Motor India showcased several new and exciting two-wheelers at the 2016 Auto Expo. The Japanese-based manufactured displayed its all-new Cygnus Ray-ZR scooter. Now there is a high possibility that Yamaha could launch the Cygnus Ray-ZR on April 14, 2016.
Powering the Cygnus Ray-ZR is an 113cc Blue Core single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. Yamaha engineers have tuned the engine to produce 7bhp along with, 8Nm of peak torque and receives a CVT gearbox. The engine in Cygnus Ray-ZR is similar to existing scooter models by Yamaha in India.
The Japanese-based manufacturer will provide its Cygnus Ray-ZR with sporty alloy wheels. Yamaha will also offer an optional front disc brake on its stylish and sporty scooter. Cygnus Ray-ZR will be available in two variants and the disc brake variant will bear a premium price tag.
Cygnus Ray-ZR scooter is a more premium and stylish model for the Indian market. Yamaha designers have redesigned the scooter for 2016. The Cygnus Ray-ZR will be available in several unique and exciting colour and decal options.
The all-new Cygnus Ray-ZR will get a redesigned speedometer and will boast of a 21-litre boot space. Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR scooter will compete against the likes of Honda Dio, TVS Jupiter, and Hero Maestro Edge models. Stay tuned for pricing updates as we get closer to its launch.
