UM Motorcycles Opens New Dealership In Raipur

The new dealership facility is equipped with an integrated after-sales service facility. Currently, UM Motorcycles is offering two of its models in the Indian market.

The Renegade Commando is a cruiser motorcycle powered by a 280cc, single cylinder, four valve, liquid cooled engine, which produces 25bhp and 21.8Nm of torque.

This lightweight cruising motorcycle will come with a six-speed gearbox. It features a ground clearance of 200mm and inbuilt USB charging point. The motorcycle will be available at Rs 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Raipur).

The other model is the Renegade Sports S which also shares the same workhorse as the Renegade Commando. Both the motorcycles come with an electric start. The Renegade Sport S will be available with a price tag of Rs 1.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Raipur).

Director of UML, Rajeev Mishra said, "This showroom in Raipur marks our entry in the state of Chhattisgarh. The state has emerged as a very strong market in the Central region for cruiser bikes and is yet another milestone after the successful Indian launch of the UM Motorcycles. This dealership will house our flagship products like Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S."

Director of Akash Automobiles, Akash Shadija said, "In order to serve our clientele with enthusiasm and passion we are proud to launch our first UM Motorcycles showroom and workshop facility in Raipur."

He added, "The level of interest in the UM brand in Raipur has been very positive. Our investment in this new facility has already been rewarded by orders and deliveries which we have received prior to this opening."
