TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Launched In India For Rs. 88,990/-
TVS has launched the much awaited Apache RTR 200 4V in India for Rs. 88,990/- ex-showroom (Delhi). The RTR 200 images surfaced online, including its engine specs a few days ago. The new Apache RTR 200 is available with a fuel injection system and a carburetor for the Indian market.

Engine & Gearbox
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 197cc, oil and air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 21bhp and 18Nm of torque, which comes with a fuel injection system. The Apache with the carburetor produces 20bhp, while producing the same amount of torque as the FI version.
Both engines are paired to a 5-speed gearbox and TVS claim that the new Apache can do 0-60km/h in 3.9 seconds.
Features
The new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V comes with telescopic front forks, monoshock at the rear, disc brakes for the front and rear, a fully digital instrument console, daytime running lights, alloy wheels, split seats, Anti-lock Braking System (which will be available in a few months), lap timer, gear position indicator, and service reminder. The Apache will be offered with optional Pirelli tyres as well.
Competition
The newly launched TVS Apache RTR 200 will compete with the KTM Duke 200 and the Pulsar AS 200. This segment is currently dominated by the KTM Duke 200.
