Triumph Bonneville T100 Rumbles Into Bangalore; Priced At Rs. 7.96 Lakh

British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has launched a new member of the Bonneville family, the T100 in the city of Bangalore.

British motorcycling icon Triumph has launched the Bonneville T100 motorcycle in city of Bangalore. The retro-themed Bonneville T100 is priced at Rs. 7.96 lakh ex-showroom (Bangalore).

The new Bonneville T100 is powered by a liquid-cooled 900cc, SOHC, parallel twin engine that produces 54bhp and 80Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

Design wise, the new T100 is inspired the legendary ‘59 Bonneville. It features a two-tone paint job, a sculpted fuel tank and pea-shooter style tailpipes.

The new T100 sports a a tubular steel twin cradle chassis. To handle the bumps and potholes of Indian roads, Triumph has fitted the T100 with 41mm KYB forks with 120mm travel up front . At the rear end, there are twin KYB shocks with adjustable preload and 120mm travel as well.

The new T100 sits on 32-spoke wired steel wheels that are shod with 100/90-R18 (front) and 150/70-R17 (rear) tyres.

To ensure the T100 comes to a halt quickly, Triumph has fitted a 310mm disc brake up front and a 255mm disc brake at the rear. Both disc come with Nissin 2-piston floating calipers.

Aiding the braking is switchable ABS which can bought into play with the help of a scroll button on the handlebar.

Along with the switchable ABS the Bonneville T100 features other modern tech like daytime running LEDs, electronic ride-by-wire, and traction control.
