Top 10 Selling Two-Wheelers In The First Quarter Of Financial Year 2016
Two-wheelers as we all know is a huge advantage when it comes to commuting, especially in a city. Taking this as factor, two-wheeler makers have taken maximum advantage to deliver user friendly vehicles.
Here's a look at top 10 selling two-wheelers during the first quarter (Q1) of the Financial Year (FY) 2016.

10. TVS Jupiter
At the 10th place is the TVS Jupiter, which has proven to be a key product for TVS. In the first three months of the 2016 financial year, TVS has sold 1,33,268 units of the Jupiter scooter in India.

9. Bajaj Pulsar
In the ninth place is the famous 'Pulsar' brand from Bajaj. Although Bajaj has multiple products (8 to be exact) that range from a 135cc variant to a 200cc model, sales is not very high. The Pune based motorcycle maker sold 1,40,520 units during the first quarter of 2016.

8. Bajaj CT
Taking the eighth place is the Bajaj CT, the entry-level commuter from Bajaj. Meant to be a mass seller, Bajaj sold 1,61,351 units during Q1 of the 2016 financial year. The entry-level commuter segment has massive competition, and the CT also competes with scooters and the Hero Splendor.

7. Honda CB Shine
The Honda CB Shine is a potent competitor in the 125cc commuter segment and is churning out good sales numbers, although sales has dropped over time for the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer. During the first three months of the 2016 financial year, Honda managed to sell 1,83,855 units.

6. TVS XL Super
The TVS XL Super has been posting steady growth over time for TVS, and is also the best seller for the brand. The introduction of a four-stroke engine only strengthened the XL's sales in India. During Q1 of FY 2016, TVS sold 2,17,050 units of the XL Super.

5. Hero Glamour
In the fifth place is the Hero Glamour, which is available with an optional fuel injected engine and a disc brake. Hero sold 2,21,694 units of the Glamour in the first three months of this financial year, and has also posted good growth.

4. Hero Passion
The Hero Passion takes the fourth place, and is a good selling commuter motorcycle again from Hero. Sales has seen a drop over time, but is still selling strong for Hero MotoCorp. The two-wheeler maker sold 2,73,497 units during the first quarter of 2016.

3. Hero HF Deluxe

2. Hero Splendor
The Hero Splendor is the strongest selling model for Hero MotoCorp. Introduction of the iSmart technology has further strengthened its portfolio and the recently launched 11cc iSmart version will help sales further. Hero sold 6,35,857 units of the Splendor during the first quarter.

1. Honda Activa
The strongest product from Honda and the best commuter in India - the Activa has been the best seller for six months straight now. In the first quarter of this financial year, Honda sold 6,97,938 units of the Activa.
