Top 10 Best Selling Two Wheelers In August 2016

dominate
the
list
of
best
selling
two
wheeler
list
in
the
country
for
the
eighth
successive
month
in
August
2016.
Honda Activa stands in the top of the list, with 2,80,790 units sold last month with a year on growth of 29 percent as per the reports from Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). HMSI Senior VP - Sales and Marketing, Yadvinder Singh Guleria said that it was a historic month for Honda two wheelers India.
The second position was occupied by Hero MotoCorp's Splendor with 2,29,061 recording 26 percent growth compared to last year. Hero HF Deluxe was the third most sold two wheeler in India with 1,27,752 units sold, which registered a growth of 58 percent.
Hero's Passion stood at fourth with a loss in momentum, it recorded negative figures in sales with 77,581 units being sold. The only moped to feature in the list, the TVS XL Super recorded a growth in sales with 75,435 mopeds sold last month occupied the fifth spot.
Hero Glamour, the best selling motorcycle in the 125cc segment was in sixth place. Honda CB Shine made way to Glamour and dropped down to the seventh position. TVS Jupiter stood in eighth place. Bajaj's Pulsar and CT were pushed down to final two positions of the list with Pulsar suffering negative growth.
