Suzuki Hayate EP Launched Silently For Rs. 62,166 On-Road
Suzuki Motorcycle India has silently launched an updated version of its entry-level commuter motorcycle. The Hayate EP model will replace the previously sold Hayate bike in the Indian market. The Suzuki Hayate EP is priced attractively at Rs. 62,166 on-road in Mumbai.
Powering the new Hayate EP is a 113cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox and is tuned to produce 8.58bhp, along with 9.3Nm of peak torque output. Fuel efficiency is a primary concern in this segment and Hayate EP features SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology.
The Hayate EP motorcycle will be available in three exciting colour options. Suzuki Motorcycles India is offering Pearl Mira Red, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Oort Grey. Designers have also provided the new commuter motorcycle with premium decals and stickers.
The Hayate EP by Suzuki will ride on alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Bodywork across the Hayate EP has been redesigned for a stylish and sporty avatar. The commuter motorcycle can boast about having the longest seat as well as the longest wheelbase in the segment.
In terms of competition, Suzuki's all-new Hayate EP will face tough competition. The segment is currently occupied by Honda Livo, TVS Victor, and Hero Passion motorcycles. Suzuki Motorcycles India will be launching several new products in the country soon.
