Suzuki To Launch The Hayate EP In India By April 2016
Suzuki Motorcycles India will be launching their all-new commuter bike soon. The Hayate EP is most likely to be introduced in the Indian market sometime during April 2016. It is an updated version of its predecessor that was sold in the country.
Powering the Hayate EP will be Suzuki's 113cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance). The engine will produce 8.7bhp and 9.3Nm of peak torque. Suzuki will mate the engine to a four-speed gearbox and the bike will weigh just 107 kilograms.
Several new components within the engine will be updated for a better riding experience. A sleeker piston, high-ignition spark plug, new piston rings, low friction cylinder, reduced weight, reduced friction, high compression ratio, and improved combustion.
The Japanese-based two-wheeler manufacturer will be providing the Hayate EP with several new features. Tubeless tyres, rear mono shock suspension, maintenance free battery are a few new additions to the motorcycle.
The new Suzuki Hayate EP will be available in three exciting colour options. Customers will have the option to choose between Pearl Mira Red, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Oort Grey. So far, Suzuki India has not revealed the pricing of their new commuter motorcycle.
