Suzuki GSX-250R Production Version Revealed — In Pics
The fans of Suzuki motorcycles have been waiting for the GSX-250R for a while now. Even though the manufacturer is trying to keep the development of the motorcycle a super secret, images have always tended to surface up on the internet.
Suzuki had earlier revealed its plan to bring more premium motorcycles to the Indian market, and the GSX-250R seems to be the perfect motorcycle for Suzuki to tap the young audiences.
Unlike the images we had seen before, the new spy shots reveal a lot about the motorcycle.
The new spy shots confirm that the quarter-litre motorcycle will be dubbed the GSX-250R and it follows a design language similar to the 1000cc big brother.
The motorcycle features headlight and body graphics similar to the GSX-R 1000. The rear of the motorcycle has risen, and the bike features a split seat.
What's also seen is a tubular frame structure similar to its rival, the Ninja 300. The suspension seen is a basic telescopic front fork and mono-shock at the rear.
The brakes offered seems to Petal rotor which is large and could be well over 300mm in diameter.
Other details on the exterior of the motorcycle are a large fuel tank and a large windscreen that makes the motorcycle look like a proper supersport motorcycle.
Rumours claim that the company could even use the same engine that was offered on the Inazuma 250. We expect the motorcycle to come with an engine that could produce around 40Bhp of power.
The details regarding the launch are scarce at the moment, and we expect Suzuki to launch the motorcycle at late 2017. Once launched, we expect the motorcycle to come with a price tag between INR 2.5 to 3.5 lakhs. Till then, stay tuned to DriveSpark.com for the updates on the motorcycle.
