Suzuki Gixxer Cup 2016 Announces Season 2 With Red Bull
Season two of the Suzuki Gixxer Cup has been announced. The Japanese-based manufacturer will be partnering with Red Bull for season two. Red Bull will be organising its Road to Rookies Cup 2016 in the Indian sub-continent.
Red Bull will provide a lucky few Indian racers a chance to race in the Rookies Cup. The racing aspirants will then have a chance to enter the Moto3 Championship and with further improvements could also work their way up to Moto2 Championship.
The Suzuki Gixxer Cup will begin from June and will go on until October 2016. All the rounds have been approved by the FMSCI (Federation of Motor Sports Club of India). Entire 2016 Championship will consist of five rounds, which will be organised by MMSC (Madras Motor Sports Club).
2015 winners of Suzuki Gixxer Cup from both the Open and Novice category won themselves a Gixxer and Gixxer SF model. The 2016 Suzuki Gixxer Cup winner will also win several exciting prizes. Last year, MotoGP Legend Kevin Schwantz was present to witness the last race and also crowned the very first Suzuki Gixxer Cup winner in India.
