Suzuki Gixxer 2016 Model Launching In India On April 15
Suzuki Motorcycles India showcased several of their new products at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. Now the Japanese-based two-wheeler manufacturer is set to launch its all-new 2016 edition of the Gixxer motorcycle.
The 2016 Gixxer model will get only two updates that will set it apart from the previous year's model. Suzuki engineers will be offering the Gixxer with optional disc brake setup for the front and rear wheel. An all-new Black with Green highlight colour option is also added to existing paint schemes.
Powering the 2016 Gixxer will be the same 155cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The engine produces 13.94bhp, along with 14Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. No changes have been carried out on the engine by Suzuki engineers.
Expect Suzuki to price its Gixxer with dual disc brakes to cost slightly more than the existing model. In India, the Gixxer competes against the likes of Yamaha FZ-S, Honda CB Hornet 160R, and Hero Xtreme models. This segment demands motorcycles that are efficient as well as perform well.
Suzuki Motorcycles India will be celebrating April 15, 2016, as Gixxer Day. The manufacturer will be organising a special event at Ramjus College in New Delhi. All existing Suzuki owners, as well as enthusiasts, are invited to the event and launch of the new Gixxer in India.
