Suzuki Could Discontinue Older Variant Of Access 125 Scooter
Suzuki Motorcycle India currently offers both new, as well as the old variant of the Access 125 scooter. Now, the manufacturer is considering discontinuing the older variant in the country. The new Access 125 variant has attracted buyers, taking away the charm from the older scooter.
The old Access 125 scooter is priced at Rs. 57,122 on-road (Delhi). The new Suzuki Access costs Rs. 59,222 for the drum brake model, while the disc brake option is priced at Rs. 62,780 on-road (Delhi). Price difference between both models is marginal, thus customers are opting for the new model.
The new Suzuki Access 125 scooter receives retro and classic styling cues. The scooter looks unique and distinguishable over its predecessor. The old Access 125 looks more common and similar to its competition, which refrains individuals from opting for it.
Selected dealership have stock of the old Access 125 scooter. Majority of Suzuki showrooms have run out of stock and are not accepting orders for the older variant. It is most likely that the success of new Suzuki Access 125 will play an important role in continuation or discontinuation of older Access 125.
