TVS Aiming For A Guinness World Record Attempt With The Apache RTRs
TVS is aiming for a place in the Guinness Book of Record by attempting to scale the Rupshu Valley on motorcycles. The chosen motorcycle to do the job is the TVS Apache RTR200.
Six riders, astride 4 new TVS Apache RTR200s will attempt the record. The six passionate bikers are from West Bengal, and part of the North Calcutta Disha Motorcycling Club.
The bikers will scale a height of 21,300 feet, which is the summit of Chamser Kangri, in Rupshu Valley.
TVS flagged off the trip in Chandigarh, and the riders will ride on to Kyurchu to set up the base camp. All four motorcycles will have four prominent flags — the Indian tri-colour, Biswa Bangla, North Calcutta Disha, and Mohun Bagan.
The planned altitude is set at 21,300 feet, but the riders are determined to reach an altitude 21,500 feet, to make the record hold stronger.
