Shetty, Singh & Barkhade Claim Victory In Freedom Mania Dirt Track Race Held At Pune
Swapnil Shetty, Sonu Singh, and Rahul Barkade won the off-road dirt track race in their respective categories in the second edition of the Freedom Mania event. The race was organised by Kings Autoriders, in co-operation with NSG Group, and PhySC Gym at NSG Knowledge City in Baner. More than 400 riders across Pune, Mumbai, and Kolhapur took part in the event.
The dirt track race was specially organised for Roya Enfield's newly launched motorcycle, the Himalayan. Shetty won the 350cc class, Singh took victory in 500cc group, and Barkade won the Himalayan category.
There was also an extra feature to the event - the Maze Chase, Which was a new addition this year, specially to test the riders balancing skill levels. This was won by Rahul Rajpurohit. Baljeet Singh Kochhar grabbed victory in Slow Bike Race category.
Safety was given the utmost importance for riders. Hence, in all the events, riders were equipped with riding gear, full face helmets, and ankle length shoes, which in turn saw an accident free event.
The awards were presented by Ganesh Gaikwad of NSG Group, Nilesh Shirke and Sohail Sam of PhySc Gym, Royal Enfield ASM Nitin Sharma, and Kings Autoriders owner Swapnil Balwadkar. MLA Laxman Jagtap and Nanasaheb Gaikwad of NSG Group were also present at the event.
