Royal Enfield Himalayan Set To Enter Europe

This brings to the fore that Royal Enfield is looking to sell the Himalayan in the European markets. With the adventure bike segment growing rapidly across the globe, Royal Enfield wants to showcase the capabilities of the Himalayan.

Europe is not new to the brand Royal Enfield, the retro styled and classic looking bikes are already on sale in countries which fall under the European market.

India has already got the Himalayan when it was launched in March 2016 and the delay in offering it in the global markets is attributed to the emission norms set in European countries.

To adhere to the Euro 4 norms, the Royal Enfield Himalayan will be equipped with ABS and fuel injection technology, this is not seen in the Indian spec model.

The Indian spec Royal Enfield Himalayan is featured with its 411cc single cylinder petrol engine. The new engine developed by Royal Enfield churns out 24.5bhp and 32Nm of torque. The adventure motorcycle features a carburettor and starts with an electric ignition.

The Himalayan is offered in Snow white and Granite black as color options and is built to handle some of the hardest terrains.

Royal Enfield has ensured that the Himalayan can carry luggagewhile traveling, this is with the mounts for side box or saddlebags and front panniers for carrying petrol or water.

The Himalayan is an adventure motorcycle for any entry level rider looking for a weekend outing without worrying to ride a big and massive bikes. Also, the cost factor will lure some of the new rider looking for some adventure.
