Royal Enfield Himalayan Launches In Delhi For Rs. 1.74 Lakh
Royal Enfield launched its very first full-fledged adventure bike for the Indian market on March 16, 2016, in Mumbai. Now the Himalayan motorcycle has officially been launched in New Delhi. The Himalayan adventure bike costs Rs. 1.74 lakh on-road to Delhi customers.
Currently, Royal Enfield is selling the Himalayan in select cities. Here are the cities where the adventure bike is available and their respective pricing.
- Royal Enfield Himalayan is priced at Rs. 1.70 lakh on-road in Pune.
- Royal Enfield Himalayan is priced at Rs. 1.74 lakh on-road in Delhi.
- Royal Enfield Himalayan is priced at Rs. 1.76 lakh on-road in Chennai.
- Royal Enfield Himalayan is priced at Rs. 1.77 lakh on-road in Hyderabad.
- Royal Enfield Himalayan is priced at Rs. 1.79 lakh on-road in Mumbai.
- Royal Enfield Himalayan is priced at Rs. 1.82 lakh on-road in Kolkata.
- Royal Enfield Himalayan is priced at Rs. 1.84 lakh on-road in Bengaluru.
The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer will be introducing the Himalayan in several other cities in a phased manner. Bookings in Delhi will be accepted from March 30, 2016, through Royal Enfield authorised dealerships. Himalayan by Royal Enfield is one of the most anticipated launches in India.
Powering the Himalayan is a 411cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. The engine develops 24.50bhp along with, 32Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Service interval of the engine is set to 10,000 kilometres between oil changes for long distance trips.
Himalayan adventure bike will be available only in two colour options. Royal Enfield will be offering its Himalayan to customers in either Granite or Snow paint schemes. The Himalayan is a purpose-built bike and is designed to tackle the off-road and extreme terrain.
