Rossi & Lorenzo Battle For 2nd Place In MotoGP 2016 Championship
2016 MotoGP Championship winner has been declared, however, the battle for second is far from over. Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo are separated by just fourteen points. Currently, Lorenzo is third, while Rossi is second, this can change soon as witnessed in the last GP.
In any battle, it is very important to beat your teammate. The battle in MotoGP between teammates is by far the most fiercest one fought. Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo do not like each other and their goal is to outperform the other at any cost.
Jorge Lorenzo is leaving Movistar Yamaha at the end of 2016 MotoGP Championship. He would like to finish second in the Championship and move ahead with Ducati. Most importantly he would finish ahead of teammate and arch rival Valentino Rossi which would be satisfying.
Next MotoGP round is scheduled for October 23, at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia. Usually, Jorge Lorenzo is extremely strong around Phillip Island. Surprisingly, weather conditions are far from ideal and Valentino Rossi usually is more successful around a wet circuit.
The battle for second place is not expected to end anytime soon. Rossi and Lorenzo are destined to fight till the very end. The 2016 MotoGP Championship may have come to an end, however, we are confident that Rossi and Lorenzo will put on an excellent show for their fans at the Australian GP.
