Fourth Round Of MRF MMSC National Motorcycle Racing Championship To Be Held This Weekend
The fourth and penultimate round of the MRF MMSC National Racing Championship will be held this weekend.
The motorcycle race will take place at the Madras Motor Racing Track at Sriperumbudur, in Chennai. The event will commence from Saturday with the qualifying session.
In the championship, the riders will compete with each other in four national Championship categories.
The Super Sport Indian 300cc - 400cc, Super Sport India 165cc, Pro-Stock 165cc and the Stock 165cc.
The Super Sport Indian class will be the one to watch with India's top riders battling it out on the track for the top honours.
In the 300cc - 400cc category, Ami van Poederooijen from Puducherry and Bengaluru's Abhishek Vasudev riding for Rockstar Racing team have been the dominant force in the season.
In the Pro-Stock 165cc class, TVS Racing's Jagan Kumar has a 13 point lead over Deepak Ravikumar, In the Pro-Stock field, Honda Ten 10 Racing Team Riders Hari Krishnan Rajagopal and Rajiv Sethu are first and second respectively in the Championship.
Coimbatore rider Antony Peter of RAC Racing and Anish Shetty of Hubballi, Karnataka are locked in a two-way battle for the championship.
