MotoGP Riders Experience Riding Difficulty At Argentina
MotoGP riders and teams have commenced free practice at the Argentine circuit. Every rider is experiencing something different with their bike, tyres, and electronic package. The Termas de Rio Hondo track surface is also not helping the new Michelin tyres.
Yamaha who dominated the Qatar GP, now find themselves against the wall. Jorge Lorenzo could manage only 14th fastest lap time in Argentina during free practice 2. Team mate Valentino Rossi with all his experience set a fastest lap, which was only good for seventh position.
Surprisingly, Repsol Honda duo Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa set the top two fastest lap times in free practice two. Following them closely was Maverick Vinales onboard his Suzuki in third place. The top Ducati rider was Scott Redding who enjoyed sliding his bike as he set a fast lap.
Top satellite team rider was Jack Miller onboard his Estrella Marc VDS bike. Miller was fourth fastest followed by Cal Crutchlow who was riding the LCR Honda. Aprilia Racing still is getting accustomed with their MotoGP machine and lacked overall pace.
We are surely in for an interesting qualifying session, as all riders will try to improve in the next two free practice sessions. Expect the unexpected to happen at the Argentinian GP as no team has tested their new machines around Termas de Rio Hondo circuit with Michelin tyres.
