MotoGP 2016 Championship Drama Explained By Contenders Themselves

Only eight races remain before the 2016 MotoGP Champion is crowned. It is still unclear who will win the title of the 2016 MotoGP Champion. We have one thing clear, and that is the title contenders and they are Marc Marquez, Jorge Lorenzo, and Valentino Rossi.

Marc Marquez is sitting on top of the leaderboard with 181 points. Jorge Lorenzo is second with 138 points, while teammate and rival, Valentino Rossi is third with 124 points. All three riders have ridden exceptionally well this season, unfortunately, there can only be one champion.

Rossi has made his intentions clear and explains that he has to outperform his title rivals. 'The Doctor' realises that he has to do his maximum best at every Grand Prix. He will take one circuit at a time and promises to take the battle to the very end.

Lorenzo on the flipside believes that Ducati can play an important role in deciding the Championship winner. The Spaniard realises though that this could work as an advantage as well as a disadvantage for him. Jorge will be leaving Yamaha next year and would like to do so with a title.

Marquez has a completely different approach towards the 2016 MotoGP Championship. He believes that if he can manage to win two more races in a dominant fashion, the title will be his. A dislocated shoulder, Ducati's new found performance, and title-hungry Yamaha riders will not make it easy for Marquez.
