Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber & Roamer Launching In India Soon
Moto Guzzi has confirmed that two new motorcycles will be introduced in the Indian market very soon. Recently, at the EICMA Motor Show, the Bobber and Roamer models were showcased. Both these motorcycles will be introduced in India as modern classic models.
Powering the Moto Guzzi Bobber and Roamer is an all-new V9 850cc engine. The engine will produce 55bhp and 62Nm of peak torque output. Moto Guzzi will be pairing the engine to a 6-speed gearbox and power is delivered to the rear wheel via a double-joint shaft.
The Italian-based manufacturer is most likely to introduce both motorcycles initially through the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. The V9 Bobber and V9 Roamer could be locally assembled at a later stage based on the demand Moto Guzzi witnesses in the Indian market.
In terms of safety features, Moto Guzzi will equip both motorcycles with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), immobilizer, and traction control. An optional Multimedia Platform will offer wireless connectivity to a smartphone, and access to fuel consumption data.
Once the Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber and V9 Roamer is launched in India, it could bear a price tag between Rs. 8 lakh to Rs. 13.5 lakh ex-showroom. Both models will compete with the likes of Ducati Scrambler Range and Triumph Street Twin motorcycles.
