Own A Motorcycle Ranging From 150CC To 250CC? How About These New Radial Tyres?
Metro Tyres is all set to offer radial motorcycle tyres for the Indian market. High-quality radial tyres are expected from Metro Tyres, who have partnered with Continental as a technological partner. Their tyres will be aimed at customers using motorcycles ranging from 150cc to 250cc.
An all-new R&D facility in Punjab has been utilised for developing and designing the Metro Radial tyres. A total of Rs. 300 crores were spent by Metro Tyres in upgrading its current facility. Metro Tyres is India's only manufacturer that has partnered with a global tyre manufacturer, Continental.
Currently, Metro Tyres will be offering its radial motorcycle tyres only at select outlets. The new radial tyres will be available in select cities initially. So far, Metro Tyres has disclosed size and pricing of its two-wheeler radial tyres for the Indian market.
It is estimated that over 120 million two-wheelers ply on Indian roads. The two-wheeler industry is growing steadily at a CAGR of 8.5 percent. Metro Tyres aims at conquering ten percent market share within the two-wheeler segment.
