Marc Marquez Displays His Strength At Circuit Of The Americas GP
Marc Marquez dominates and decimates his opposition at the Circuit Of The Americas GP. The Spaniard won pole position and the race as well without any troubles. He displayed picture perfect race form and has never been defeated at Texas circuit.
It was not a good outing for the Italian riders as both Valentino Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso could not finish the race. Rossi had some issue with his front tyre and lost his front wheel in the opening laps itself. This was the first time, since a very long time that Rossi crashed out of a race.
Andrea Dovizioso's bad luck continued as he rode well for third place and was taken out. Dani Pedrosa could not brake in time and hit Dovizioso's bike, which ended both their race. Luckily, both of them walked away from the crash without any major injuries.
Iannone was left alone and rode brilliantly for his first podium in 2016 MotoGP Championship. Ducati is extremely strong this year, however, they could not use their pace on the Texas circuit. There was no drama at the 2016 Circuit Of The Americas GP, as there was very less overtaking.
The Circuit Of The Americas GP saw for the first time in 2016 four different manufacturer's in the top four. Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, and Suzuki finished in the same order showcasing that all bikes are on par this year. The teams will now pack their bags and bikes and head on Jerez for the first European round.
