Mahindra Set To Celebrate 100th GP & 5 Years In Moto3 At Misano
Mahindra Racing entered Moto3 Championship as an independent factory team back in 2011. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer will be celebrating its fifth anniversary in Moto3. As a constructor, the company will be competing in its 100th GP on September 11, at Misano.
Currently, Mahindra Racing supplies motorcycles to Moto3 teams in the 2016 Championship. The company has eleven MGP30 on track at the Misano GP. Of which, nine motorcycles ride under Mahindra Racing banner, while two motorcycles use the Peugeot banner in Moto3 competition.
Special parade lap around the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli was held for Mahindra Racing. All eleven Moto3 riders using Mahindra machinery paraded with India's flag. Photographers and journalists were present at the finish line to greet the team and riders.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Mahindra Racing has organised various contests. Fans and racing enthusiasts can head to Mahindra Racing's Twitter Page. Make sure to follow the contest question at #100atMisano Challenge.
It will be extremely great if Mahindra Racing could occupy the podium to remember this day. Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin are the best candidates to achieve podium finishes at the Misano GP.
