All-New Mahindra Commuter Bike Spied Ahead Of Launch
Mahindra & Mahindra is constantly innovating new products to attract buyers. Recently, an all-new 155cc commuter motorcycle was spied testing without camouflage. Here are a few images of the upcoming commuter motorcycle from Mahindra Two Wheelers.
From April 1, 2016, Indian Government has made it compulsory that all two-wheelers should have a BS4 certified engine. The government of India plans on reducing vehicle emission across the country. In this regard, Mahindra would not be able to sell their entry-level products.
So far, all we know is that the new commuter motorcycle will sport a 155cc engine. No specifications or performance figures have been revealed. Mahindra engineers will be making sure that the new engine is BS4 compliant.
In terms of styling, Mahindra's new commuter bike looks simplistic. The motorcycle looks fuss-free and has a retro touch to it. All parts and components have been built to keep costs in check. Expect Mahindra to offer an option for added features and gizmos.
Currently, Mahindra Two Wheelers offers the Centuro and Mojo motorcycles in India. The new motorcycle will help close the gap between both models from Mahindra. Expect the manufacturer to launch the bike sometime during 2016-end or early 2017.
