KTM Reveals Its RC16 With MotoGP Livery Ahead Of Austrian GP
The KTM Racing Team has been testing its prototype machine feverishly. The Austrian-based two-wheeler manufacturer had promised to showcase its project to the general public ahead of the home race. MotoGP livery which will be used by the KTM MotoGP Team has been revealed.
The Austrian GP will be contested on August 14th, 2016, at the Red Bull Ring. KTM Racing will be performing demo laps around the Red Bull Ring for its fans in Austria. Mika Kallio and Alex Hoffman will be performing demo laps on the all-new KTM RC16 MotoGP machine.
The official entry by KTM Racing in MotoGP will be conducted at Valencia GP as a wildcard entrant. The Valencia GP is the last race on the 2016 MotoGP calendar. Mika Kallio has been selected to ride the KTM RC16 as the wildcard rider for Valencia GP.
The 2017 MotoGP Championship will see Pol Espargaro and Bradley Smith as Factory KTM Racing riders. The duo have admitted that the development of KTM's MotoGP project is ahead of what they had expected. KTM will expect both riders to be competitive from the very beginning.
