KTM is constantly adding more value to their motorcycles across the globe. As part of their 2016 update, KTM India is now offering Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) as standard. The feature is currently offered on all KTM model sold in international markets.
In India, DRLs is set to become standard safety equipment for two-wheelers by 2017. All-new motorcycles will have to be equipped with the safety feature. KTM India is expected to offer its Duke and RC range in the country with all-time headlights on system soon.
The headlamp on/off switch will be eliminated from the new motorcycles by KTM. Currently, KTM 200 Duke, 390 Duke, RC200, and RC390 sold in international markets are offered with DRLs. Now the Indian-spec motorcycles will be the same model sold in international markets.
An official announcement is expected soon from KTM India. The new update is expected to be available in showrooms soon. All four motorcycles sold in India will receive the headlamp safety feature as standard equipment.
European models of the KTM is expected to receive a side-mounted exhaust system in 2017. Ride-by-wire, slipper clutch, and several other updates will be added to KTM Duke and RC range. All models will continue to be manufactured at Bajaj Auto's facility in Chakan, Pune.
