Kawasaki Versys 1000 Gets Metallic Titanium Colour For India
India Kawasaki Motors has launched an all-new colour option for its Versys 1000 model. The new colour option is called Metallic Raw Titanium with Metallic Spark Black. Previously, Kawasaki was offering the Versys 1000 in India only in black paint scheme.
Versys 1000 in Metallic Raw Titanium with Metallic Spark Black by Kawasaki will be available for no extra cost. 2016 Versys 1000 by Kawasaki costs Rs. 13.28 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai). Design wise the adventure bike carries no difference from last years model.
Powering the Kawasaki Versys 1000 is a 1,043cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine is tuned to produce 118bhp, along with 101Nm of peak torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The adventure bike by Kawasaki weighs in at an astounding 250 kgs.
The Metallic Raw Titanium with Metallic Spark Black for the Versys 1000 was introduced in international markets during 2015 itself. Unfortunately, Kawasaki introduced an additional colour option in India during 2016 as an update to previous years model.
Several other Kawasaki models sold in India are expected to get an update during 2016. Kawasaki India could offer the Versys 650 with one more colour option as it is only available in black paint currently. Stay tuned for more updates from Kawasaki and its upcoming models.
