Sales Increase For Kawasaki Motors In India
India Kawasaki Motors sales increase by 800 percent in the month of August 2016. This increase is due to the sales of Ninja 650. The Japanese manufacturer has sold 54 motorcycles last month as compared to six units in the same period last year.
In early August 2016, the company has slashed the price by Rs. 40,000, thus lowering the price tag from Rs. 5.37 lakh to Rs. 4.97 lakh. This price slash has helped the company to boost the Ninja's sale. This discount of Rs, 40,000 was only applicable to 2015 manufactured models only.
Kawasaki has been on the news for a couple of weeks because of its Mumbai dealer issue. The dealer at Palm Beach Road, Navi Mumbai took full money from the customers and failed to deliver the bikes. Eventually, Kawasaki did cancel the dealership.
If Kawasaki is able to give this discount to 2016 manufactured models, then the sales will increase dramatically. As for now, the Ninja 650 is one of the best selling sports tourer in India.
